Week 7 has been a very interesting week.  This week we saw the team win and advance in their cu… I mean the FA Cup, and have a nil - nil draw against Fulham in the League Cup.  

The biggest piece of news this week was that Other John Green has been injured and will be out for 50 days.  This is the kind of injury I have worried about all season long.  Because the Greens are in for nearly every game they have no time to rest.  Granted they are star players and can play more games than most but, when Coach continues to put them in game after game and have them play the entire 90+ minutes of a game you will have these kinds of injuries. 

I am sure the fans wouldn’t mind an episode or two of transfer choices if it meant depth on the team so we could keep our star players healthy. 

This week we also saw the debut of the french cousins to Coach Brothers, Marcel and Petunia.  They are a tennis duo who are working on a comeback into the tennis world.  Once upon a time they both played at a very high professional level that earned them a lot of accolades and recognition.  

So far we have only seen a couple of work out matches so they can get back into the mix of the game and really start to hone their skill set.  Stay tuned to see what comes next for these two.  Will they rise to the top again or will they never make it out of practice.
