Swindon Town Swoodilypoopers fans: we here at the Swindon Town Gazette are getting some questions about when certain events have taken place.  One large question has cropped up about the date for the marriage of the Green’s.  The actual date of their marriage is December 12^th 2011.  “But,” you say, “John (aka Coach Brothers) said their marriage was three-ish weeks ago!”

That is correct within the confines of a normal football season.  We, however, have to remember that IRL John has played one entire season and part of another since September 7^th of this year.  This does not allow for exact time-tracking, and thus there is going to be some confusion about when things exactly happen. Remember— within the world of the Swoodilypoopers it is roughly sometime in late September 2012.

This is a perfect example of Doctor Who time logic (see title).  Events don’t necessarily happen on a fixed standard time line, but they do happen in order, just like they do for the Doctor.   Also, I would like folks to keep in mind that we here at the Swindon Town Gazette are only one piece of the puzzle.  There are 8 – 10 different voices telling this narrative, and that is going to cause a bit of confusion.  At the Swindon Town Gazette, we strive to make sure our information is as accurate as possible while using a bit of creative license to make sure everything is tied together.

I hope you will excuse this bit of off-topic conversation, but I wanted to shed some light as far as timelines and schedules go.
