Only 3 games this week and a the League Tables. The League Tables were a nice addition to this weeks videos letting us know exactly where the teams are at. The games this week were quite nice. Taking two games and a one - one draw giving Swindon Town 7 more points this week.
Swindon Town just keeps trucking along. Concerns still remain high although the team has continued to play as good as they ever have. Now that we are at the mid season transfer window I hope that there is some money lying around in the Swoodilypoopers coffers so they can pick up some loans or some cheap depth that we can dump at the end of the season to free up some some cash and make it into Champions League play next season. I dont think Swindon Town can get there this season since the team is middle table at the half way mark but there is some hope if S Town keeps playing the way they are and a few teams take key losses.
Swindon keeps improving and we keep watching. Keep up the good work Coach Brothers!
What a week! Swindon Town is really starting to show there ability to play well. My only worry is that because we lack depth the second half of the season is going to be very rough and kill any momentum we have right now.
This week we advanced another game in League Cup and took 3 games, for a total of 9 points in the Premier League, bringing us to a season total of 24 points. We did lose one in Europe putting us on rocky ground to continue in that league.
I am sure that it comes to no surprise that the game of the week was Swindon Town v. Swansea City. This game was electric from the beginning. The play was fast paced and gave fans a lot of what they want to see.
Mixed feelings are apparent when it comes to Berna’s performance. He is allowing more goals but the team is playing better. I would like to think this is because Coach Brothers is focusing a bit less his stonewall defense and more on attacking the other end.
Going forward I am sure we would all like to see Coach Brothers put a big emphasis on taking full advantage of the Mid-year transfer window to make sure depth is added to the team so we can continue to prosper in this league and maybe even bring the Premier League Cup to County Ground!!
This will be a short update due to time constraints and getting ready to start summer school… yay-ish!
This week we took 5 points in the Premier League taking Swindon Town to a total of 15 points. We also had a 1 -1 draw in the Euro League.
The highlight game of the week to me was ST v. MC. This was my favorite game because Swindon was able to keep their emotions in check and play against a team they dislike so much and force a nil - nil draw… and after a nil - nil draw with Arsenal it proves we can play with the best teams in the league.
If we can get deep into Europe, high-middle table the Premier League and take the FA cup again we might be able to get into some money and get a few more players to help round out our team and give us some depth.
